Attendance

The nursery is open from 7.30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays and our Christmas and New Year Break, varying from year to year. Parents should notify the nursery by 9.00am if their child is unable to attend. A full day begins at 7.30am till 6.00pm. Sessions are either 7.30am till 1.00pm or 1.00pm till 6.00pm. An increase in sessions may be available on request. Casual attendance for extra sessions is sometimes available.
In order to assist your child settling into the nursery we may advise flexible attendance(trials) during the first week.

Changes

Parents/Guardians are required to inform the nursery immediately if any of the information, including mobile numbers, given on the enrolment form changes.

Collection

Children will not be allowed to leave the nursery premises alone. The nursery staff must know the person collecting the child. Late collection (evening) charge is £10 per quarter hour or part thereof. This covers the cost of keeping two members of staff on duty. If you are late it is essential that you contact nursery.

Promotions

Attendees and their parents/carers consent to their being photographed and the subsequent use of such images in promotional material such as monthly newsletters to parents, local publications and our website.

Loss or Damage

Children need to wear clothes, which are practical, easy to wash and allow freedom to play and work comfortably.

Admissions

Admissions are accepted on receipt of a completed enrolment form and by payment of the registration fee. Places must be accepted within fourteen days in writing and by payment of the required deposit, otherwise the offer will lapse. Early registration on our waiting list is advised to ensure that your preferred days are available.

Notice of Leaving

One full month’s written notice is required of reduction in sessions and of leaving. Fees are payable even if your child does not attend nursery during this time.

Prospectus, Terms and Conditions

The Prospectus, Terms and Conditions shall not be constructed as containing any misrepresentations under The Misrepresentation Act 1967. All statements in the prospectus are intended to be statements of opinion made in good faith and believed to be true, but not be regarded as representations on the basis of which children are entered for the nursery.

Fees

Fees must be paid monthly, in advance by standing order; fees are calculated by multiplying the weekly fee by the weeks charged for in the year and dividing this by 12. Parents who pay by vouchers are also expected to pay in advance.

Medical Information

It is your responsibility to complete medical and emergency contact details. In the event of your child becoming ill we will make every effort to contact you. If an emergency arises the nursery reserves the right to take your child to hospital. Please notify the nursery if your child is going to be absent.

Parking

Please ensure you have parked your car in a safe place, there is parking available in our car park but all parents must park sensibly, not block in any other cars and always keep the disabled car parking space available at all times.

Complaints

Should any parent have any concerns, complaints or compliments please contact the Admissions Officer to discuss your situation. If a resolution cannot be found then we will follow Policies and Procedures to investigate.
