Outdoor Play
At Pepperberry we see the outdoor play area as an extension of the learning experiences provided for each child within the nursery. Children love exploring the outdoors and our safe and secure play area gives them a wealth of opportunities to investigate the natural world whilst developing their learning.
All weather surfaces as well as a range of grassed and bark areas enhance the equipment and resources provided for the children. Suitable footwear and all weather suits are provided to ensure children can access the outdoors all year round.
Carefully arranged spaces within the outdoor play area offer children the chance to grow their own fruit and vegetables, encouraging them to sample them when they are ready to be picked.
